The Department of Radiology provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and interventional (minimally invasive radiology) services. Imaging techniques available include state-of-the-art computed radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, mammography and diagnostic angiography.
Hospital is offering open extremity MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) services. This MRI scanner is specifically designed for claustrophobic patients, overweight patients, biopsies, as well as other normal examinations for different body parts.
We work in partner with several departments to offer non-invasive and minimally invasive imaging to screen, diagnose, provide interventional therapy and treat diseases and conditions.

Inpatient Services
The Inpatient Radiology Department is a 24-hour imaging service that uses state-of-the-art x-ray producing equipment (computed radiography) to generate images of the tissues, organs, bones and vessels of the body, as prescribed by physicians, to assist in the diagnosis of disease or injury. Procedures are also performed at the patient’s bedside using mobile radiographic equipment, in surgical suites through the use of mobile fluoroscopic (C-arm) units, as well as in the Emergency Department, recovery room and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Medical imaging procedures are performed by adapting the variable technical parameters of the procedure to the condition of the patient, assuring minimal radiation exposure to patients and personnel.
Outpatient Services
Radiology provides complete outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures. Comprehensive radiography (x-ray) is available for skeletal, abdominal, chest, genitourinary (GU) and gastrointestinal (GI) diagnostic testing. CT scan of the brain and body and abdominal and musculosketal Ultrasound are available. A physician order is required
